BAD neighbour
A bit of a disaster today...
I received my post this morning after seeing my first customer away (He'd had my back doors on the sofa as the postman dropped off my letters through the curtain).
There was a letter addressed to the occupier and saying Dear Resident... It went on to say in no uncertain terms that I (my full name) am using my property to work as a prostitute. They gave details of where I advertise as well as my work phone number. They said that they do not think I should use 'our road' for my business and they say they have written to the local authorities because they beleive I wont be paying tax or business rates. They urge readers of the letter to join them in complaining to the local authorities to stop this activity in 'our neighbourhood'.
I am severly PISSED OFF!
For one, why didn't they come to me with any complaint about me? For two, why have they not had the balls to say who it is from (it is signed from 'A Friend'). And for three I DO NOT cause a disturbance that I am aware of. It's not like I walk the street or sit in my window. I even put trackies on to pop to the shop. All of my visitors are normal people who simply come to my door and cause no trouble to other residents.
I went to knock on a few doors this morning to try to find out who it was from. Most people were out, but those I spoke to said they had no problem with me so long as I keep to myself. My next door neighbour requested that I make sure the bedroom window is closed in the Summer which is fair enough and I will. And no-one knew who it was from.
I've worked myself up about it again now and I'm going to knock on a couple more doors and ask them if they know who wrote it and if they have a complaint to make about me.
